DVR
I love the DVR for the television. I always want to watch certain shows but can't catch them up at school, so I have my family record it for me at home. I come home and can watch whatever I missed. You don't even have to be at the tv at the time of the show, you can set to record the shows earlier, and you can delete or keep the recording as long as you want. It's very easy and convenient, and nice to have.

DVR is great, I agree with you on that. I hate missing good shows because I am obligated to do something else at the same time the tv show is on. When Planet Earth was on the Disovery Channel I loved it but couldnt always see each new episode because I had to work. Thanks to DVR I was able to catch each episode. Without DVR I would have had to wait for an encore showing at some random time or wait for the DVD to come out.
